A Thank you to our veterans

To those who served, and continue to serve: we cannot thank you enough for your service. Thank you for your sacrifices, your bravery, and the example you set for us all. We owe you our thanks, but even more so our freedom. We salute you, today and every day.

DCVYP is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the Bergen County community. Our programs aim to support local families in need through curbside food distribution and hot dinner deliveries, as well as running mentorship programs to support local youth. Founded in 2010, our organization currently feeds 3,000 familes each week.

3,000 families.

2.7 million meals and counting.

When Chef Dion saw the devastating impact that COVID19 was having on his community, he began two food insecurity programs to provide for local families: Hot Wheels, whose first round provided over 25,000 three-course hot meals to Bergen County families, and Table to Table Tuesday, a weekly food distribution that's been successfully expanding since March 2020.

“Our mission is to provide our youth with a community of male and female role models who listen, accept and encourage them to become good men and women. We give boys and girls the opportunity to make conscious choices about what kind of men and women they want to become. We offer hope, support and guidance on their path to adulthood,” - Dion Cucuta, FOUNDER
